Ants… nature’s ergonomist!

Ants are strong team players and natural ergonomists. Highly motivated, they have great co-ordination and an innate understandting of the techniques required to improve productivity. On its own, a single ant will move 232 grams of earth every six hours. If joined by a second ant, their productivity jumps to 465 grams of earth per ant in the same six hour period. Add a third ant, and the per-ant productivity skyrockets to 778 grams of earth every six hours. However, if the two helpers leave, the productivity of the frist ant plunges to 180 grams.
